WASHINGTON – Tears flowed and bells tolled at Ground Zero as Americans marked the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks in a rare moment of unity for a country still shaken by the horrific terror strikes.
At a ceremony in Washington later Sunday, Obama told Americans, “We can never get back the lives we lost on that day, or the Americans who made the ultimate sacrifice in the wars that followed.”
But “these past 10 years have shown that America does not give in to fear”.
He added that “nothing can break the will of a truly United States of America”.
How’s Afghanistan doing these past 10 years?
There were a total of 2,977 deaths excluding hijackers in 9/11 attacks while in Afghanistan, it is estimated that at least 10,172 civilians killed as a result of the war in Afghanistan. Yes, civilians.
Oh and how about Palestine? How long has it been since 14th May 1948?
We don’t need any preparations for the remembrance of the fallen heroes in Palestine. The main concern is, “what does a ‘brother’ means to another ‘brother’”? As the Prophet Muhammad used to say,
The Muslim is the brother to the Muslim,
he can’t oppress him,
he can’t give him up,
he can’t let him down.”
[transmitted by Muslim]
"nothing can break a will of a truly united brotherhood"
So be a part of them will ya?
Dear USA,
Your 9/11 is our 24/7
sincerely yours,
Palestine
